Isleen Gimenez joined the Center for Disability Inclusion (CDI) in 2024 as a Partner Support Consultant (PSC). In this role, Isleen works in close collaboration with the CDI team to support partner relationships and the delivery of CDI programming and training services. Her focus is helping business partners move disability inclusion efforts forward in a way that is practical, coordinated, and aligned with organizational goals.

As a Partner Support Consultant, Isleen supports CDI’s vision of partnering with businesses nationwide to advance disability inclusion in the workplace, marketplace, and beyond. She brings a strong execution mindset to her work—ensuring partners are supported throughout their engagement with CDI and have access to the guidance and resources needed to drive meaningful progress.

Isleen is an attorney by training and brings more than 26 years of experience reducing barriers to employment for adults with disabilities. Her career spans the nonprofit sector, the federal marketplace, and private industry, where she has helped organizations strengthen recruiting practices and expand workforce strategies to intentionally include employees with disabilities. Her background enables her to bridge legal insight, business needs, and inclusive workforce practices.

In addition to her work with CDI, Isleen partners with Traub & Associates Consulting, supporting organizations in rethinking how they recruit and engage talent with disabilities. She also provides corporate legal support to small businesses and disability advocacy services to individuals with disabilities and their caregivers through her consulting practice, Advocate at Heart.

Isleen’s professional work is informed by deep personal experience with disability. She is a disabled veteran and the mother of four young adult children with special needs. This lived experience enables her to contribute to disability inclusion work in a way that is thoughtful, relevant, and responsive across the lifespan. A Hispanic American with a military background, Isleen has lived and traveled internationally and brings a culturally aware perspective to her work. She speaks Spanish, Japanese, and conversational American Sign Language, further strengthening her ability to engage diverse communities and stakeholders.
