The Disability Inclusion Journey: Leveraging Individual Influence for Collective Impact
Presented By:
Meaghan Walls, CDI CEO &
Andy Traub, CDI Director of Corporate Disability Inclusion
The Disability Inclusion Master Class is a dynamic half-day learning experience designed to move your inclusion efforts from intention to action. This immersive program helps individuals and teams uncover practical ways to foster a more accessible, inclusive workplace—starting with their own roles and spheres of influence.
What to Expect
1. Foundation-Building
The first half of the class lays the groundwork by examining how disability inclusion strengthens every area of business—from hiring and onboarding to retention, innovation, and customer engagement. We’ll explore how cultural and organizational barriers affect inclusion and what it takes to create sustainable change.
2. Self-Assessment & Clarity
Participants assess their current knowledge, mindset, and efforts around disability inclusion. This reflection helps clarify their starting point and pinpoints areas for growth—both individually and organizationally.
3. Action Planning
The second half of the class is all about moving forward. Using CDI’s practical tools and frameworks, participants build personalized action plans that align with their role and business goals. They leave with a clear roadmap to spark meaningful change within their teams.
4. Lasting Impact
We close by focusing on leadership and influence—how each person can champion disability inclusion in a way that supports business performance, strengthens culture, and contributes to long-term success.
