Meaghan Walls serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Disability Inclusion (CDI), where she leads the organization’s vision, strategy, and overall success in helping businesses turn disability inclusion into a measurable driver of workforce performance. Appointed CEO on December 23, 2023, Meaghan brings a deep understanding of how disability inclusion, when done well, strengthens recruitment, retention, engagement, and long-term business resilience.

Since joining CDI in 2021, Meaghan has worked closely with employers across industries to design and deliver practical disability inclusion strategies aligned with real business goals. As CEO, she partners directly with organizations to translate commitment into action through focused consultation, customized training, and scalable solutions that move beyond compliance and create lasting impact in the workplace.

In parallel with her role at CDI, Meaghan is President and CEO of Assistology, LLC, an Omaha-based consulting firm specializing in Assistive Technology (AT), rehabilitation engineering, accessibility, and universal design. This work grounds her leadership in real-world application—helping individuals increase functional independence while supporting businesses in creating inclusive spaces, services, products, and practices that work for everyone.

Meaghan’s career spans healthcare, engineering, nonprofit leadership, and business consulting. She previously served as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Children’s Respite Care Center in Omaha, held a biomedical sales engineering role with ADInstruments in Boston, and worked with Easter Seals Massachusetts as an Assistive Technology Specialist, Regional Center Coordinator, project leader, and researcher. This cross-sector experience informs her ability to connect technical expertise with operational realities employers face every day.

A recognized community leader, Meaghan is the elected Board President of Angel Guardians, Inc and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Omaha Children’s Museum. She was named a Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40 award recipient in 2019 and has held leadership roles with the Mayor’s Advisory Commission for Citizens with Disabilities, including serving as Vice Chair.

Meaghan is a Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Certified ADA Coordinator (ADAC) and holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering, with an emphasis in Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology, from University of Illinois Chicago, completed through a two-year Rehabilitation Technology Fellowship.
