The Disability Inclusion Summit brings together business leaders, disability inclusion professionals, advocates, and organizations working toward the same goal: building workplaces that work better for everyone.
Why the Summit Matters
You shouldn’t have to figure out disability inclusion alone.
For many organizations, disability inclusion can feel like a puzzle being solved in isolation. What should we prioritize? What are other companies doing? What’s actually working? And how do we turn good intentions into better business practices?
The Disability Inclusion Summit creates a place to work through those questions together.
It’s a day to connect with people facing similar challenges, hear from organizations further along the journey, and learn from speakers who bring both inspiring stories and practical ideas you can take back to your workplace.
Because progress happens faster when businesses stop working in silos and start learning from one another.

New for 2027
Celebrating Leaders in Disability Inclusion
For the first time, the Disability Inclusion Summit will also include CDI’s Leader in Disability Inclusion Award Ceremony.
Throughout the Leader in Disability Inclusion process, organizations work through measurable steps toward stronger disability inclusion practices. During the Summit, we’ll recognize and celebrate organizations that have completed a rung in that journey.
Bringing the ceremony into the Summit gives the broader CDI community an opportunity to see what progress looks like, celebrate organizations doing the work, and learn from those taking meaningful steps forward.
Why November?
A New Time of Year
The 2027 Summit moves to November based on feedback from our community. The later date is designed to better fit organizational calendars and make it easier for more people to participate.
SHRM Certification has approved this conference for 5.5 PDCs toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. Program code will be provided at the end of the conference. The conference also meets recertification credit standards set by the HR Certification Institute and other HR certifying bodies, but candidates must manually enter their activity into their records.
